falling

it’s like falling to your knees, except you don’t stop when they hit the ground, you just keep going, you keep falling, and falling, and you just never stop. there’s no bottom and it never ends. you can’t live, you can’t die, you just fall, and fall, and fall, until you get used to it and that’s just the norm, you forget you’re never on solid ground, then something brings you to your knees again and would you look at that, you’re still falling, you were falling all along, and there’s still a bit of endlessness to go, there’s still somewhere left to fall, there’s always more falling to be done, there’s never enough falling, you’ll always be falling, just falling and falling, always
